Mod 2 zs for line out

Hi there,

i'm new to head fi and it is a real interesting site. My question is is it possible to get a direct line level out put out of my audigy 2 zs because i want to connect an amp directly to it? Maybe with a mod but i don't know which are the right pads on the dac. Could i use a signal from the STAC9721T or do i have to use the CS-4382?

Thanks Dave.

The line out IS the front speaker jack.

No mods needed.

Thanks for your reply but i mean i want a line level out a line out signal which can't be volume controlled. A signal which doesn't go through an opamp.

That... most likely won't be possible for such sound card.

The mod might not work either because you need the resistors and caps for all the power and stuff if you solder your own line to the board.

As it IS a sound card for the computer, you kind of need to go through some sort of amplification in order to even get that "line level" in the first place.
