Love all his work.  Got a suggestion for the best live recording to look for?

Live at Montreaux is supposed to be one of his best shows. It's included as a second disc on last years remaster of Couldn't Stand the Weather. Compared to the studio releases the sound quality is sub-par but it includes a tremolo'ed version of Lenny that is pretty good imo.

Found an awesome site with lots of links of bootlegs for SRV as well as a multitude of other great groups!

The album he did with Albert King...In Session, I think it's called...is pretty good.  It's fun to hear Stevie simultaneously in awe of one of his idols and playing with him more than adequately.

And you can get the album in high-rez over at HDTracks.  Bonus.  cool.gif

The general consensus (from some web searches) seems to be "Live at the El Mocambo 1983" which is also a DVD.
