I was recabling a pair of ep730 (harman version of im716) and ripped the soldering pad clean off.The other side went off without a hike They've been semi broken for a year(wire jacket peeled) but wasn't ready ill I had bought a back up ety (hf2, which doesn't sound as good when amped)

I was going to solder the wires directly to the armature but want to know if there are any precautions I should take before proceding.

This would be the 2nd in ear I've attempted to recable. The 1st was a dynamic driver which I accidental ripped the pcb board from again and given up on.

EDIT: Whoo I fixed it. I kept thinking that BA are so delicate forming a mental road block.
