Dear reader
I have a bit of a problem and I hope it is o.k to write about that on this forum ,
Singer songwriter Michael Marks donated all his music to my foundation for disabled children. So I am sitting here in the Netherlands with the material of two great Cd's, what to do next?
Now the music of Michael is very good (if you like his style) and his first album was Irish album of the week in 1998. He had a bit of bad luck because the (small label) record company boss died the same week as his album was released. So only 500 copies are out there, which should have been a lot more. If you hear the music you will understand why I say that.
So I decided to make a website where you can listen and (legally) download his music for free.
http://michaelmarks.nl
On this web page you'll find only high quality audio recordings, all in FLAC
If you like what you hear and you want to reward Michael Marks then you can do so by Donating the non profit "My Breath My Music" This Foundation aims to give children with severe physical disabilities the opportunity to play music (all over the world). But that is just a suggestion,
feel free
kind regards Ruud van der Wel
founder of My Breath My Music foundation
