I am trying to find the best bang for my buck that I can for an ambiguous price range (changed based on the function of the device). So now that I'm on the verge of breaking 16 gigs of music, I am going to need a new PMP if I want to take all of my music with me. I also want something that sounds better than an integrated sound card or an ipod. now i was thinking that perhaps if the sq on a 300 dollar pmp is good enough, i could leave it plugged in and use it as an external DAC with the added capability of not needing to use system resources to run banshee (which i fairly hardware intensive for me). Thoughts?
