Munitio Teknines or RE-ZEROs?

JackThreads is offering an amazing sale on Teknines right now and it ends in one and a half days. I'm trying to decide whether I should get the Teknines with mic ($107) or the RE-ZEROs ($99) since they're currently in about the same price range. The look and style of the Teknines is a big bonus for me, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice before I make this choice? I read |joker|'s Teknine review, but there wasn't really a direct comparison between the Teknines and RE-ZEROs.

Probably two of the most distinctly different styles of IEM's you can chose from. lol. In terms of sound signature that is...

Yeah, I saw this too. But I've honestly never heard of munitio. I would assume, though, that the RE-ZEROs are probably better.  These just seem to be fashion accessories, more than anything...

If you read Joker's review of the Munitio's - you can tell he was trying to be polite.  Other audiophile revieweres were less so polite, calling them downright terrible with overwhelming muddy bass.  The description most commonly heard was reproducing a car stereo sound as an iem.

 

Also - be careful, as it was pretty common to see low post Munitio "reviewers" providing "sale" links with an attached referral.  Shady advertising at best.

They were shilled out heavily when they came out. Take that for what you will.

I loved the re-zeros. You would have to pay me to keep the teknines.
