Haha, his signature is also showing stuff he doesn't have yet.  He just ordered the DBA-02 for his IEM review thread. :P

I don't have the L3 yet, but it is in my signature (paid preordered, awaiting shipment, delivery)

etysmile.gif I simply couldn't help myself and when she walked in today, I asked her if she wants to experience what "real" sound is like. So she agreed, and sat down, and I plugged in the SM3's. wink.gif

She's quite the skeptic towards high end IEM's, but is much more open than before. She didn't have much of an expression before the track started, and I could tell she didn't at all have high expectations. That changed altogether, as I saw a smirk on her face she just couldn't help cover! tongue.gif Long story short, by no strecth of the truth, with only 15 seconds inot the track she looks over at me and says "how much?" biggrin.gif

She's always on the go, and has never owned a pair of cans before, so the SM3's worked their charm and she wants nothing but! basshead.gif

Mission accomplished! beerchug.gif

Good show! smily_headphones1.gif

Audiophile gear sells itself, but most people don't get a chance to hear it.

Indeed my friend. Oh and great sig! Made me lol. tongue.gif

Lots of excellent suggestions here; M50, Ultrasone. Sounds like she is set on IEMs. She might want to try your SM3's for a couple of hours to make sure they are comfortable enough for her. Personally I can only wear an IEM for an hour or two at most before I want to rip them out of my ears.

NOOOOOO!!! You fool, you have now ruined her life, she has had a taste of what is possible and will now begin the never ending search for better.

Why? Why would you do this to your own sister, you cruel, cruel man?
