To OP, to me as well as audiophile friends:

a source plays a crucial part in the hi-fi world,

if you have good enough amp + headphone/speakers to monitor those as well as your passion to wanna hear thing better

Let's think about amp + headphones as a black box, you then listen to what you feed, garbage in garbage out, make sense?

Well, if you are very enjoy to this hobby, you may end up having the power cord like this in your system and I would like to note that it of course effect bass/impact, why not DAC? LOL

^Don't get me started on power cables ಠ_ಠ

It is hard to believe unless you try it yourself, but then you will probably busy with power outlet and fuse biggrin.gif

I have tried it, but maybe I am not trying to imagine the differences hard enough.

Good to you though, I am not surprised since read your dac 's comment.

I ordered a monoprice power cable. I wonder if people can really tell the difference between two different kinds of power cables during a blind test.

Power cord is not new to audiophiles community, some might prefer to change it rather than speaker cable or interconnect

However you do not have to worry about it at the moment, just do your research on dac

Ps since my first try, I was busy with power cord about a year

haha before this thread gets put out of its misery.

Anyone know how the NFB 2/3 would compare to the Dac Magic?

I know the 2 is better than Dacmagic. Not comment on this thread anymore, someone will say emu is better very soon.

I never said it was the best, it is the best soundwise as it sounds like every other neutral dac.
