Was thinking of gettin the superlux hd668b or the grado sr60i ( woah the reviews..and the looks) . I can get at a good deal the senns hd 448.

I mostly listen to house, electro-house, progressive, trance, songs with vocals .. wouldn't mind even trying some classic music.

What kind of headphones do you think I need?

The Grado would be better if you wanted to "feel" the music rather, unlike the Superlux which makes you analyze the music.

I also wouldn't recommend the Superluxes to your genres. They do a lot of things well, but energy isn't exactly their forte.

Thanks Crinacle for your reviews. Very helpful for newbie like me.

Do you still prefer the Superlux HD681F compare to HD668B after almost a year of having them?

I have Head-Direct RE0 which I really really like(sound signature). After reading many threads at Head-fi, some complain that RE0 is a sibilanct IEM, but for me it is not. Can you give me some idea if sibilant of Superlux HD681F exceed too far compared to RE0.?

If I like RE0 SQ, what can you recommend for me. HD681F or HD668B.?     Many thanks.

i have hd668b and m50, m50 sounds bit better, especially, microsounds is much more noticable. biggest flaw of superlux is terrible treble. it sounds like someone puts knife on your ears. terrible sound signature, m50 has wonderful sound expierence.

want to buy a pair of headphones for my friend.  he's not really an audiophile.  he likes rock & classical...  He thinks my DT880's sound really good though.

I think he might like detail more than "fun"...so maybe the superluxes? The 668 is just slightly over the price range :P

I don't want to spend more than like $36..

should i get sennheiser HD201 for $20, HD202 for $30

Panasonic HTF-600 for $34,   closed...tiny bit open?

Superlux HD681 for $36?   semi open

thanks
