Best Portable DAP for UM2 (without amp)

Hello guys. I've recently bought UM2 and I'm now looking for a DAP with large enough storage for lossless formats.

Which DAP is the best choice without an amp?

I am currently looking at iPod Classic and Cowon X7.

personally i don't really think you have to match headphones/iems to your dap, more really for matching to your music preferences. if you're gonna be going all ALAC or have all ALAC, then ipod classic is fine, imo.

I'd go with a Cowon player because their sound seems to favor treble. The UM2 is a particularly warm sounding earphone and would mate well.
