Energy bars are gross.
what are my options that actually taste good?

Greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom.

Sunflower seeds, walnuts, any nut you like, any nut butter you like, leftover meat in the fridge or cooler, fruits or vegetables that are convenient like bananas, apples, pears, carrots, cucumbers, etc. Real food tastes the best to me and gives me the strength and energy food should, instead of the pseudo-high jitter, spin, and crash of sugar or grains. It keeps me ripped to boot.beerchug.gif

Those suggestions are about as realistic as "army intelligence"

What sort of budget do you have to work with?

You could always go out and crop grass........... Beats mowing the stuff..   Cows like it.... Unprocessed milk.... Vegan cheese......

OK Kirosia, what's your take on my suggestion?

A few easy snacks that are "grab from the fridge and eat", basically the things that are always there in my fridge.

Drinkable yogurt (my everyday breakfast).

Fresh veggies with dip (humus, etc) - celery sticks, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower.

For more of a quick dish that takes 5 minutes of prep, just make a garden salad - chop up tomatoes, bell peppers, green onion, cucumber, throw them in a bowl, put a little olive oil on top, salt and pepper to taste and dig in!

These are a few of my favorites:

  • Spicy peanuts
  • Shrimp flavored Cup O' Noodles
  • Tabasco Slim Jims
  • Trail Mix
  • Yogurt covered pretzels
  • Snyder's Honey Mustard & Onion pretzels

X2 on jerky. Real food. It is expensive, but it is only your health we are talking about here.
