Detroit Area Meet at Jude's Office - Page 5

I can be there whenever the doors open, to help with table-arranging, moving/lifting/putting-togethering, whatnot.

I'll plan on 9-9:30 myself. I have about a 2.5 hours drive...>_<

I'll be there. I can't wait to meet you all.

thanks wotts :)

BTW if anyone is interested, there will be a SMAC (Southeast Michigan Audio Club) swap meet that afternoon (12pm-5pm).  Goods should consist of speakers, DACs, receivers, CD players, turntables, records, CDs, amplifiers, and pre-amps.

Here's SMAC's website:  http://sites.google.com/site/michiganaudioclub/  You should probably join beforehand... just a quick e-mail to Jeff!  He will put you on the e-mailing list, but since you probably won't get the event info on time, just PM me for event details.  It will be held in Allen Park

A perfect day of audiophile events for those in SE MI!

- Eric

EDIT: So when does this officially start?  I didn't see a time posted.

I saw that.  I was asking if there was an official start time (for people who don't need time to set up) posted, but I guess not.  Thanks!

I don't think there's an official show time, just a time when the doors open. You can start listening to stuff (or playing stuff for others) whenever you're done setting up. If you arrive without anything to do, the worst that will happen is you might get press-ganged into helping somebody else.

With Jude's permission, I've prepared a list of things I want to sell, mostly running the gamut of low-to-midline gear, plus a few vintage items. If you're attending and have NOT gotten a PM about the list, PM me and I'll forward the URL. (And if you have any questions about it, contact me directly; this thread is not the place to discuss it.)

Since this is a morning meetup, I'm thinking of bringing a vat or two of coffee. Is there interest in that?

I talked to Robert form Aphroditecu29.com and he is providing a discount for our meet on the Havana DACs. He will be providing the discounts for the Michigan member through the following week after the meet.

The Havana single ended list price is $859 and will be selling it to us at $779 and the Havana Balanced lists price is $1,149 and our price will be $1,039.

I just received a balanced unit he sent me to show and use at the meet. I listen to it for a little bit last week end and I really like what I heard specially at the price point. That unit will be avaliable at the end of the meet if somebody is interested.
