No you can't as the Audio engine A5's are powered speakers & the Promedia 2.1 sub gets their signal from the sattilites so you would have to do some fairly serious mods to somehow make it work even with a signal splitter sending the signal to the sub & sattilites on seperate wiring. The sub level control is in the one sattilite speaker so you would have to disable the speaker but not the electronics so you could use it to balance the sub with the A5's & you would have to change the crossover frequence on the sub to lower it to about 50hz so you wouldn't get a huge boomy sound that drowns everything else out when there is strong bass in the mix. You would have to use the volume control in windows in order to not have to mess with the bass balance once proper lelels are achieved between the satilites & sub. Overall it is seriously not worth it as the quality of the bass fron the Promedia 2.1 sub isn't worth it anyway.
