Point to Point vs PCB

This is a good article. Although, it is intended for guitar amps, I do feel that it can apply to other amps as well.

It does. What the article doesn't touch on is the problems with PCB repair. If you lift a pad or accidentally cut a trace, PCB becomes very difficult to repair. I avoid PCBs because I like easy repairs. Electrolytics have to be replaced every so often; I'd rather not have to risk destroying the PCB to get them out.

I usually stick to point to point for peace of mind.

I picked up a bunch of single turret solder lugs at Apex Electronics - they're nice to work with.

Though I've found solder tabs at Nebraska Surplus for something like 8¢ each. One of those with a screw, aluminum spacer, a couple of nylon washers, and a nut would make for a nice tie point. Since the turret lugs are running $1-$2 each, this would save some money.
