best player for b&w p5?

Hey, i was just wondering which player suit b&w p5 in order to get the full sound quality from the headphone. Is amp needed for this headphone? im currently running it through my laptop or blackberry bold 9700.

I do find the iPhone 4 to be a rather good match. Its "lively" sound signature, especially in the upper mids, complements the rather mellow sounding P5 well.

 

No idea on amplification though.

doesnt really matter how much the budget is, as long as its portable and sounds awesome. hehe

The impedance of the P5 isn't high at all. According to B&W it is 26ohm. So almost any DAP should be able to power it without issue. Both my J3 and my Clip+ powers my HJE900s without issue, and it has the same impedance rating. 

 

P5 was supposedly designed with the iPod in mind though. So you can take that for what you want.

It's cool, but why do they make amps that are small and dont fit the iPhone 4? I meant it by, why dont they make the amp the size of the iPhone 4? I know that if they do, do that,that if would have a smaller audience.
