Amp for HD 598, tube or solid state?

Hello people.

So i am leaning toward Senns HD598.

Firstly, my plan was to use them with Little Dot MK IV

But then found, that low impedance headphones doesnt like tube amps because tube amp cant give them enough current.

Is it really like that?

What can i expect from that combo?

I checked some reviews and i choosed solid state opponent, Little Dot MK V

Is it good choice?

So now, what to choose?

I hope someone more experienced will leave a reply :)

A Little Dot amp should work very well with a Sennheiser headphone IMO. I used to listen to the the Little Dot and Sennheiser combo alot. Small amps are fun brotha.

you are paradoxically advising tube amp...may i ask why?

I'm actually not advising anything. Any good reputable amp is good and will give lots of joy.

If you are shelling out big money for an amp, it's strongly recommended to go out to a head fi meet and audition the various amps with your reference CDs. Even if you have to hop on an airplane, it's worth it-if you are serious about this hobby. But any good reputable budget amp is fine. Brand doesn't really matter.
