Advice for a newbie...

Hi Everyone,

I'm pretty new here and was hoping to get some advice on some equipment. I recently received a pair of Grado GS1000i as a gift and as a result I have tried to learn and experience as much on high end audio as I can. Don't get me wrong, I love music just as much as everyone on here does but I was just not sure on how to go about looking for upgrades over what I see in Best Buy and such. I have tried Sennheiser's, Beyerdynamics, and Ultrasone's, and I've got to say they're all great. I do however like the Grado sound and I find the RS-1i to suit my needs. The GS1000i however I find slightly different but they're still great. I tried to read as much on them here and I have to confess that there's just alot of information to disseminate. So I thought I'd just ask outright, apologies if it seems to be too redundant to the regulars.

I wanted to ask what would be the best small-sized amp/dac combo for these or integrated amp(preferably). I mainly play my music out of my laptop(macbook pro) with most if not all files at 320kbps, so something with a USB port would be nice as well. I wanted to find something that would get alot out of them but not necessarily the optimum as my ears might be too inexperienced to notice the difference at the highest levels.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
