Interested in feedback from Head-fiers who have heard both the Audio gd NFB-12 and Schitt Valhalla.  

 

I have a pair of HD650 and love em!  Bought a Audio-gd NFB-12 and enjoying the sound, but...it seems to be lacking umph.  I don't know how else to say it, the NFB-12 is very detailed, with a wide soundstage, but it is a little cold sounding, almost clinical.

 

I listen at my desk, so a small amp footprint is important and price around $350.  Skylab rates the Valhalla very highly.

 

Interested if other have the same opinion and comments on the Schitt Valhalla with the HD650.  Thinking of returning the NFB-12 and buying a small tube amp, such as the Valhalla.
