Interesting...baby T5P? Must hear.
Those pads look weird - still - exciting stuff - subscribed.
Haha, damn it! I'm looking to get some Beyers soon, but I'm going to hold off and see what these are and when they will be released. I like the way it looks and I'm a fan of velour over leather so it'll depend on what sound they're going for and the final price.
Officially interested...
A high end version of DT 770? It will be very interesting to see how they've tuned the sound compared to the T5p. Pricing seems similar to the Ultrasone Pro 900 so with the T5p competing with the Edition 8 Beyerdynamic really seem to be going after Ultrasone on several price ranges.
Really looking forward to these, need a good closed/ high impedance pair of phones
That's what I thought when I looked at them too, hope the 32ohm ones do a good job as good closed portables are something I'm always on the lookout for.
Those pads don't look like the standard beyer velour though, maybe its just a wierd picture but they almost look like lens cloth type material rather than ridged velour...
Do they share the same driver as the T1? BTW, I hope Beyer will release an open studio version.
i doubt it. you can see they're not using the same angled drivers.
Very interesting...a higher impedance closed headphone...must save up cash then!!!
It will probably end up being a luxurious DT770 instead of a small T1. Too bad they're not implementing their version of S-Logic in their new products - the T1 really has an amazing soundstage!
That's what I thought too! I wonder how they will work with orthos....
More competition in the $400-600 range? Yes please.
