What I really like about the ESP950 is how smooth everything sound thru them.... I listen to a lot of electronic music and never ever will they sound harsh..
but they need a crossfeed to fix the in the head soundstage and also they miss a little air.. Also the cushion on the headband suck, the pads sucks but they are so light that I don't feel them on my head..
The volume control also suck.. hehe
But in the hand.. they are worth it.. Wish i could do without crossfeed tho.
I wish Koss would release an updated flagship version at like 1000$ with better amp, better headband/cushion, and maybe a little bigger subbass and high end sparkle..fixed in front soundstage and crossfeed integraded in the amp.
