Newbie looking for advice on DAP rig.

Currently have:

Close to $300 as of next week

LG Optimus V

Sansa E260

SoundMagic PL-11

16GB Micro SDHC

Would I be good with just buying a FiiO E11 and using it with either the Sansa or the Optimus, or should I buy a Fuze? http://www.wirelessoemshop.com/servlet/the-1011/SANDISK-FUZE-8GB/Detail <- looking at this currently. 8GB Fuze refurbished for sub $50 sounds like a good deal.

I want to know which of the Optimus V, the Sansa E260, or the Sansa Fuze would produce the best sound quality. The Sansa would be rockboxed, and my Optimus is Rooted, making FLAC/TTA/APE possible. Battery life is of no consequence as I have several replacement batteries.

Whatever you do don't buy from the link you posted.... horrible seller reviews! I was gonna buy from them but adorama has the same price and much more reliable...

Your better off with your Optimus V and since your close to $300, Try to go for higher end IEM's like Triplefi 10, Shure SE 315, Plus upgraded your sd card to 32gb for those FLAC files on your rooted android phone.

I would say spend around $100 on decent IEMs such as the RE-0 or RE-ZERO, then have the $200 to spend on the DAP.

Just my opinion, hope I helped smily_headphones1.gif
