Denon AVR-4306 receiver - some good bookshelf speakers for small/med bedroom?

Any suggestions on some good bookshelf speakers to run off this receiver?  I think the RMS watts are around 125w to 130w per channel.  It is a 7.1 receiver, but only concerned right now with 2 of them.  Cost needs to be fairly in lower range, $400/pr or cheaper.  Considered Wharfedale Diamond 10.1's around $300/pair, PSB Image B6's around $400 to $500/pair.  What about Monitor Audio Bronze BX2's, maybe something by Polk Audio?  Room is bedroom avg size to smaller.  Have 2 stands 24" high all ready.

What do you want from the speakers? , what do you like to listen to?.

I listen to a lot of classical, some jazz, celtic music with all their instruments (a lot lately), and some types of rock.  Probably called classic rock.  In classical would hope to hear instruments, as good a soundstage as the speakers will produce, good mids & highs, tight bass.  With the abundance of power from the Denon, hopefully using in a med/small room can find some.   Oh, listening levels not loud at all.

Have you considered buying used? $400-500 can go pretty far on Audiogon.

Most definitely would consider used on Audiogon.  Just need to get some recommendations/suggestions on which ones to look at.  I know speakers are most subjective component, so it's hard to say sometimes, but maybe knowing at least of the classical instrument separation/soundstage aspect, maybe could get a few ideas.

There's a pair of Monitor Silver RX1s for $495 on A-gon that would probably work very well. Otherwise I'm not seeing too much of interest - your musical tastes would lead me to suggest Vienna Acoustics, ProAc, perhaps Castle.

For soundstaging and stereo imaging you won't beat the alesis m1 mk2 passives, they can be had for $200 brand new.

Anyone familiar with either PSB or Paradigm?

Or even Polk Audio speakers?  Under $400/pair?
