Up for sale is a lightly used HiFiMan EF-5 + HE-5 combo. I am the original owner, and bought them together new in January 2010. They are in excellent working order, somewhere around 500 hours total use.
Asking price: $650US shipped to CONUS. I am willing to ship overseas, but with the considerable expense and hassle of all the paperwork, it will be an additional $75US for international shipping via USPS.
Right now, I'm trying to sell these two together. If I get reasonable offers for the HE-5 and EF-5 individually, I will let them go separately - but ONLY if I know I can sell them both.
As an added incentive, if you buy the combo, I will throw in a bunch of additional 12AU7 tubes. I got them from a reputable dealer (Steven Jackson) to do some rolling, but just never got around to it. I do not currently have any other tube gear that uses these, so I'll add them to the deal - at no extra charge! - if someone wants the whole lot. Two of the tubes I thought had some sonic issues (the RCA that came with it, and a Sylvania I got from a different source, not Steven); one (from Steven) I have been using most of the time; and the other 5 (also from Steven) I have not so much as plugged into the amp to see if they work. No guarantees. ;)

Reason for selling is twofold: 1) I need money to support my new photography habit :) , and 2) I find myself listening to "pure" tube gear more often, and in my somewhat noisy room I prefer closed headphones.
