How close can your computer get to your tube amp?

I'm thinking about replacing the 17" MacBook Pro in my stack with a Mac Mini. Space is tight so I'm pondering slipping the Mac Mini under this steel stand and placing the Woo2 on top.

Can anyone think of any reason not to do this? I'm wondering if it's maybe a bad idea to have the computer that close to the tube amp or vice versa.

I know with my Kenwood and my B&W's, i dont think my speakers are shielded, so when i turn on my computer (search web, etc) with my FM tuner on its has alot of static.

It should be fine. The only time I had trouble with a computer set-up was with a highly unusual set of cables that were sensitive to picking up computer interference (they were carbon fibre cables, not exactly common).
