So if that's true how come I feel a nice vibrating/thumping sensation in my head when I listen to song with a focused bass line through my Westone ES5's or other earphones I've heard that are BA based? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is call bone conduction, right?

Bone conduction is not what you think it is. Read the IEM guide in my sig for detail. Technically IEM or headphone/speaker doesn't move air, just creating air pressure wave. That's how sound is transmitted in the air - by wave.
