Those Norh's look like interesting speakers, I was looking on the Norh web site, I think the 3.0's look like an exceptional bargain ($199 for a pair, delivered).

I am... not worthy...

I like the symmetry of your system! That picture of you touching the white shark is mad!

Habib - nice setup mate. I especially like the chair, banana hanger and your basket of ****.

The speakers don't even have a model number. They are the original PCWorks! These speakers are connected directly to the Apex DVD player. And the only reason they are used is because my Philiips 13" TV is mono. While mono cable is tolerable, mono DVD is just hell.
I have a simular pathetic HT setup
Bit larger 55 cm mono TV (~21" I think) but I don't sit as close to it. I connected my DVD player to an old sony minisystem and put the speakers of that minisystem left and right from where I am.(Not in front of me) And I use the TV speaker as center.

I must say for movies it sound pretty good! Fills the room with (better) sound and you get into the movie far better than just listening to the tv speaker. And I've got an headphone out on the minisystem. For music listening it's kind of crap but I'm proud I recycled crap into something I enjoy.

Hehe. I first saw the pics and I was like, "dang.. I wish I had my system complete. That would be kicking." If I wasn't a poor, starving college student, I think I could probably put more money into getting a good "dorm" system in my room.

I really need to get some good "dorm" phones first though, then I'll worry about getting an amp and a good source.

If you really think about it, it's more of a tweak than upgrade. It's the same thing but better. Before and after pictures are always fun anyways

That banana stand is a great idea. I've been looking for an affordable headphone stand for a while.

hmm....the system still needs music to listen to!

Looking at your headphone system vs. your home theatre, I must say that I'm proud of you.
