If you want a headphone with forward or high energy/forward treble look elsewhere.  If you are a treble detail junky look elsewhere.

 

IF you want a headphone with superb bass and midrange, and with a detailed yet slightly shelved back treble, thats the LCD-2.  

 

The treble is still of a very high quality, just its not as forward as it is with other headphones.

 

Similarly the fact the treble is less forward will put off detail junkies who will probably prefer stax wink_face.gif

Can we all just agree we have different ears and different taste.

Clearly if some people don't find the lcd-2 lacking in treble they don't find it lacking in treble

and if some people find it lacking in treble they find it lacking in treble.

There is no way you are going to argue until they change their opinion.

Also overall I think we can all agree that the lcd-2's have less treble than a lot of other headphones.
