Is it possible to purchase Lossless albums for iTunes? Also, I see an option to convert my current iTunes library to Lossless. Does this really create a Lossless version? If so, how?

AAC 256 kbps. is the highest resolution they currently offer, but there are rumours of lossless formats to come. Suggest HD Tracks or other hi rez sites for now,

Lossless has to come from the source. If you convert your current music (e.g., MP3) to lossless (e.g., FLAC), you're just creating a lossless version of a lossy file.
In short, don't waste your time!
