Amp for Hi-fi Man HE-5LE

Hi to everyone.I finally got the money to get some good headphones and an amp. Honestly I am not an expert in this audiophile matters but I want to make a huge upgrade from my Ath-a700 and mainly I want to inmerse in this sound quality worlddt880smile.png .So I wanted to know if a ibasso d12 or d10 cobra will be enough to handle the hifiman he-5le. My source is a cowon x7 and a mac book. Also I would like to hear if there is better combo than the He-5le and the amps I mentioned .My budget is about 900-1000$ and I like to listen prog rock, alternative rock,opera trance and latin music(salsa).

I dont have experience with the Ibasso models, but i can recommend the HA-160 which is a nice match for the HE-5's. A muscle amp.

True. I have been reading some reviews about similar matches. This one caught my attention.

you should buy a high qulity usb dac to connect u mac book is the first thing, amp can second thing be considerated. cowon x7 is too "ungeliveble" haha
