I don't care cause it's cheaper at $429 delivered compared to the $499 Z1000.

No one else is buying one?  It's cheaper than the Z1000!  I suspect it's the same headphones.

As a big lover of z1000 and black color, I'm very interested  to get this if there is a possible way with reasonable price..

What's this!? No idea there was another version. Looks the same as the ZX700 except the cup holder is black.

Yep, it appears as though it's the same weight as the Z1000 and specs so just a new paint job Z1000.

Oh **** , they even got a professional version the ZX700. I've got them on order and would prefer these. frown.gif

The headphones arrived today. I am uploading the unboxing to YouTube right now. Stay tuned for the link. So far, I am very impressed with the sound.

Do they have leather pads?  In the picture, the pads don't look the same as the pictures I've seen of the Z1000.  The pads on these look more like the model below the 1000, whatever that was called... 700?

I don't think that's rebranded since it is still a Sony, lol.

Someone in the Z1k thread said that 7520 is Z1k with a different cosmetic finish.

Yep, with the longer detachable cord. Specs look the same as far as I can tell.

Still prefer the silver cup holders on the Z1K, black is nice but a bit bland.

The pads on the Z1000 are urethane, although could easily fool you as being genuine leather. The ZX700 pads are nice, but not as padded and soft as the former. I'm liking the zx700's a lot, for the price I think they're incredibly good.

The picture is actually 7510, which seems to be 'related' to the zx700
