This Classified is Closed

For Sale:
FS (UK): M-Audio Transit USB, Musical Fidelity x10-D tube buffer

Will Ship To: UK preferably. Perhaps EU

Just realised that all of the mentioned gadgetry have been collecting dust and have not seen much (or any) use at all in the past years – they might as well go towards my LCD-2 fund raise!

Up for sale only (strong preference for UK, to a lesser extent EU):-

1) Ray Samuels Audio Hornet M – Rarely used, fully boxed with all accessories (fresh Maha powerex batteries, pouch, charger, etc), excellent condition. Asking for -SOLD-

2) Heed Canamp 220V + AKG K701 headphones combo (prefer to sell as set) – Up for grabs, the legendary pairing of the heed and k701s. Seriously collecting dust (Since coming into my possession, almost never used); both fully boxed and in excellent condition. Asking for -SOLD- for the lot

3)  Sennheiser HD25-1 II headphones – Arguably best in class closed portable headphones, fully boxed as new condition (with less than 30 hours of use). Asking for -SOLD-

4) AKG K81DJ headphones - Cheap and cheerful closed portable cans with decent sound. Good condition with all accessories (pouch, pads, adaptor, manual, etc). Asking for -SOLD-

5) M-Audio Transit USB interface – For PCs which require an optical out to be fed into DACs and/or as a recording device. No box but includes manual, discs, cable, etc. Asking for -SOLD-

6) Musical Fidelity X10-D tube buffer with upgraded, new 6H23P russian tubes - When purchased was NOS, unboxed however will come with power adaptor and upgraded 6H23P ECC88 tubes (newly purchased from RockGrotto) as well as the original stock tubes.  Asking for -SOLD-

I purchased the HD25 advertised in this classified, and it turned out to be faulty. Compared to two other pairs of HD25, the ones I bought lacked bass almost completely, and the sound was slightly different in left and right channels.

Unfortunately, eitook declined to work this issue out with me, maintaining the headphones were in perfect working order.

If for some reason you would like the details of my exchange with eitook, feel free to PM me.

Reported to forum mods. Klazutin and myself had an in-person exchange whereby he inspected and tested the headphones and was happy prior to the exchange. It took him a full 6 weeks before he reverted with allegations that the headphones were then "faulty" with strong insinuating tones. Note that i am an established poster registered since 2004 with numerous flawless feedback to date and I find it perplexing that a new forum user with no history and minimal postings would have the audacity of thread hijacking.

This stands out as a warning to all sellers to be wary of users who purchases headphones even after trying them, then took more than a month to state it was faulty (if it really was, this should have been reported well within a week). My educated guess is that in reality, klazutin decided that the sound signature was not to his liking and decide to find fault in the hope of a return. Unfortunately I am not Amazon and do not operate in such a manner (I doubt Amazon accepts any returns which are more than a month old as well by the way). Happy to disclose further information and full email exchanges to anybody who requires this.
