How deep should the filters be in the nozzle Gilly? My pair weren't new, when I look in the nozzle I can see a metal circle around the outer edge, but in this light I can't see in very far. rolleyes.gif I'm guessing that metal circle is part of filter?

Do you run yours with the filter?

My stock SM3s have the metal part of the filters right at the edge of the nozzle, with the green filter itself being slightly recessed.

Cool. Now take them out very_evil_smiley.gif and you will hear imaging that puts the TF10 to shame.

Its not atrocious or anything, but it makes them unsuitable for being used out and about daily.

I've only had V2 but I remember reading about build issues with the V1s as well.

I am absolutely loving this thing, a kind member has lend me his SM3 v2 to audition...thick...lush...just the way I like it...

...but yeah fits is a problem for me too unfortunately, getting very uncomfortable after about 30 mins or so...

^^ with brand new tips, they are uncomfortable. Try applying a small amount of baby oil (careful not to get oil on the green filters) over time, the tips get softer and more comfortable. I find inserting them fully then pulling back gets me a good seal.
