iPod touch's output voltage?

I've been searching teh google for the iPod touch's output voltage peak-to-peak as well as rms. Anyone know?

Get a multimeter and test it out yourself. :P

Not sure where to find this info though.

It's important to note this guy measured off of a loud (mastering term) rock album. Good idea. Therefore peak output levels would remain somewhat constant, unlike say, chamber music exhibiting a lot of quiet parts and sporadic dynamics; this type of music would produce more voltage swings, IE harder to get your peak-to-peak reading. Anyway...

His measurements:

--- Apple Universal Dock "Line Out" (I believe this is the LOD?) = ~2.01V

--- At the 1/8" connection = ~2.84V

So now we all know.

Thanks random internet dude. Your facts are valued amongst the cornucopia of nonsense/BS/misinformation found all over the internet. You deserve a beer!
