Hi all, I was wondering if any one has made a comparison between the SLI-80 and the Xciter amp? Understand that th SLI-80 has more options and has a higher power advantage over the Xciter. The cary website also position the xciter as more of a a headphone amp. But I would like to to know with regards to sonic capabilities, which will sound better from the perspective of speakers and headphone output. Is the difference going to be very significant ? Has anyone heard both these amps?
Appreciate your feedback and advice. Cheers!

There is a discussion in this thread about whether the headphones uses the tubes, but of course it does. It was all about a misunderstanding.

Anyway - I really love the SLI-80 as a speakers amp AND a HP amp. Double value :)
