Do RCA Adapters degrade sound going from dac to amp?

I'm talking about something like this

I'm going to be connecting my E9 (which only has rca for pre amp) to a HRT Music Streamer II

 

I'll be spending more money on a better amp later but this one should be fine with the HRT

It should be fine.

If you don't hear any obvious problems like the connection dropping out or static, you won't be losing anything you can hear.
