Might have to give these up even if it's only a day use. Used them for 4+ hours, feeling that fatigue factor kicking in.. Using it at the gym they keep falling off my ear even with the smallest tips available. Tried comply foams as well. This is why I don't like going iem route.

How do you insert them?

Be sure to kind of lift your ear backward (helix part) while inserting it and then release your ear

Doing so will align the entry to your ear canal with the canal itself,

you might want to use a bigger tip because this time it will go deeper and allow the entry of your ear canal to close over it when you release the helix part of your ear.

Opening your jaw while doing it will also make your ear canal widen.

haha send them here! =) if its the mk2 version i mean, i would definitely give it a good home if you don't want it

but seriously

try a fatter (bigger tip)

the tip on my gr07 be is the biggest tip i use for all my iems (i'm usually hovering in the medium to small)

i'm using an medium but modded it to be somewhat between a medium and large

tbh i don't think these are really gym earphones. like they sound great and everything but i dunno about how the cable will hold up in the gym (so much tugging and pulling), and their not sweat resistant either and a bit too expensive for me to use in the gym, plus their discontinued so odds are you'd probably won't get another pair, if you do you'll have pay a premium for it since vsonic discontinued the biocellulose drivers

for everyday use they'd be fine.

but thats just me (i'm still babying mines, especially after hearing about the disappointing news about the biocellulose drivers)--> even if they break they WILL BE RECABLED! i don't care how much it costs!

I already bought cables from lunashops in case something goes bad :)

I'm using the large eartips that came with the sony mdrex10lp ($10 in ears), they fit perfectly.

sony hybrids yea i'm using the mediums they're good tips indeed, but i feel they kill the upper treble a bit too much. but they are so comfortable and seal so well, oh well

actually just typing that reply i had an idea... using the same mod but with the gr07 tips. listening to them now. the mid bass has less boost bit its tighter so the mids are clearer, and the treble is a bit more extended.. with less emphasis in the lower/mid treble (its less siblant now)

i will need to listen to these a bit more... but liking it so far =)

maybe my mind is playing tricks on me but i can hear the difference

I love my bass edition.  Enjoying my music so much more !

Just received Bass Edition GR07s in the mail yesterday. Burned in for about 14 hours so far. I've been trying different tips that came packaged with them. First, the default, medium sized black tips. These are the typical size I'd use with other IEMs, but for some reason they were falling out and not sealing well. Next, I tried the two-tiered black tips. These ones sounded terrible due to a poor seal. All bass was gone, and everything else was just distant sounding. Lastly, I'm using the biggest black tips. These work the best so far. Good seal, great isolation, and they aren't falling out. The sibilance has been reduced from my first listen either due to burn in or due to going from the medium tips to the bigger ones and getting a better seal. Louder bass response too. These are only my 2nd IEM, but I'm digging them! The cord doesn't cause hardly any microphonics from brushing against clothing like my last pair did. Sound quality is amazingly detailed. I swear I'm hearing stuff I've never heard with my HD650s. Subtle vocal echoes, very quiet vibrations of the drum kit, etc.

Question: What's the difference between the Bass Edition and the MkIIs?

^^ IMO the differences are pretty minor. They are both amazing iem's. The bass edition adds a nice sub bass tilt. I've compared them both side by side. You'd tend to think the the BE is a bass head product. It's really not.

Just got my pair of MK2 yesterday and so far one thing has been really bothering me. The treble on these is insanely harsh and noisy, almost to the point where it's just noise. The cymbals and hi-hats are like lightning bolts. I heard they require at least a 100 hours of burn-in before they "even out" and come into their sound. Is it true or have i just got some kind of faulty build?

My GR07 BEs were pretty harsh at the start, they definately need burn in and more than any other phone I've ever experienced

i got mines used so i can't say how much they have been listened to before me. but this iem in particular is very different in terms of fit. i had mines over maybe 6 months, now and it was only a few days ago i really unlocked the full potential of these guys. before i used the medium sony hybrids on these and the sky blue hybrids that the gr07 provides both were really good, at least at the time. i

but a few days ago i was fooling around and tried on the  i had to use the biggest tip in the box (the purple LL) and i turned the nozzle upwards toward the front

wow immediately the sound stage was vast before, the placement of instruments and the beeps and bloops in electronic music were more precise the treble extends soo  soo far now, but no harshness and was not as thin as before. it has a very sparkly treble, the bass toned down but tightened and extends very low and is still as fast as ever and the mids were perfectly intergrated, without any midbass bleed (i think it suffered a bit with medium tips) i have never heard of any iem that sounds as good as these.

overall they cover the entire sound spectrum so well and so well balanced but with the right amount of speed in the bass emphasis and treble emphasis to prevent them from sounding too clinical or overly analytical, splashing some fun element to it.

My iem journey has come to an end with the gr07 be. the only thing that can change this is if i get the mk2. (which would only be used as a backup in the event my be dies) but even if the be dies, i will sent them to btg audio to get recabled. i will not be without my gr07 be as my iem of choice from this day forth
