So technically I am using my ears to hold on to the nozzles while using the body/housing to adjust the nozzles, lol. Dunno if it makes sense but that's how I achieve perfect fit. Perfect description of what I meant. :)

Thoughts?

PS. It doesn't affect the performance of these in the least.

So I figured I would mention something in here before setting up a classified, I guess the BE's are no longer as easily available, so Instead of returning mine to amazon for a full reimbursement if someone would like to buy them from me id be happy to pay for shipping to keep them in the community.

Ships with everything except the hard case, all tips have been cleaned with a light alcohol solution, burned in for 200 hours using pink noise at listening volume, kept inside the box when not in use, I only used the foam tips twice.

$145 shipped with original box, picture was taken just prior to cleaning, Send me a PM if interested.

Mine also has this slight variation in color on the metal "nozzles" I was also having some issues with it being stiff, mine just went away with use, they glide around with just enough stiffness to be easily positioned while sitting in the ear canal and not move around anymore unless you wish it.

I think more iem manufactures should include an adjustable nozzle, what say you head-fi community? I know the shure iem's could have used one when I tried them.

This is my second time around with the gr07. Man are these so very good!! I'm just floored at the sound I get with just a sansa clip zip and the gr07. I plan to move on to the fiio x3 so that I can play hi-res material straight from the DAP.

I had forgotten how good the sound stage and bass was on these. When you consider the price for them and how little they need to amp, it's an amazing value.

Hi guys,

Firstly, sorry if this has already been mentioned but this is a veeeeeeeerrrrrry long thread!

I'm looking at buy some GR07s and with so many owners in this thread I thought that this would be a good place to ask for some advice.

Basically I'm a music producer and my main reason for considering IEMs at all is isolation. I share my studio space with someone else (non producer) and I want to work without having to worry about them being annoyed by sound leakage.

I've heard that the GR07s are vented and so their isolation is not as good as others, so my worry is that there would still be some sound leakage from them. Can anyone who owns them offer any opinions on this from their experience?

Thanks, I appreciate your help!

They are decent with isolation but not great. If you need very good isolation then I'd look elsewhere.

You mean for others hearing them when you've got them plugged in? I wouldn't worry about that @ all.

I think that he means hearing others while he is using them...right?

sound leakage can best be heard by open headphones...in a room w/ others, you'd want a closed phone or an iem. IMO, no IEM would ever leak so much sound as to annoy another person.

Not if how he worded it was correct.

"I want to work without having to worry about them being annoyed by sound leakage."

Okay...if that is what he meant then Johiuh is right. No need to worry about sound leaking from iem's for sure.

Haha, yeah I was asking about audio being heard by someone else in the room rather than the listener hearing outside sounds.

Perfect, sounds like they're the ones for me - thanks for your help!
