Well, they already charged my card...and Quantum "sold out" for a few days...so I'm gonna let it ride out. Thanks for the feedback!

No problem. But check my edited post, like I said they might be new this time around.

Please do return and let us know what you think between the MK2 and the BE

Ah thanks. Hopefully you were the last to get the shaft. wink.gif

So far I've enjoyed the be, BUT, I'm using poweramp (android music app) to eq them down. If I leave them alone, my ears get fatigued by the exaggarated bass. Fun @ times, but always takes away from vocals and this I cannot tolerate.

edit: Plus the cable is red, so I get pulled over more often.

Well, then I can say you will absolutely fall in love with the original MK2. It has just enough punch to it when it applies. And if certain genres/tracks feel light in the bass department then I just flip that trusty bass boost switch on the E12... and vualah! Most of the time it's not needed, though... and I listen to mostly Hip Hop.

And stop being so flashy in your new hot car... I mean IEMs... sheesh tongue_smile.gif

They'll be here Tues. We'll see how close my eq down compares to the actual MKII.

Also, the BE's have def improved with burn in. So I probably wont get to compare them equally for a week.

Well, considering how you received them you really don't know how long they've REALLY been burned in wink.gif

UGh, don't remind me. I took them outside to open and take pictures. I was SO excited...only to find them tucked in the little baggie...w/ ear wax...ugh, ugh.

edit: and a completely different version. I think it may have been my 3rd most disappointing headphone moment.

Oddly enough I had a similar experience to the one I had with the GR07 with a pair of Shure SRH840s I just purchased a few days ago. I bought it from a private seller fulfilled by Amazon and the box looked all worn out. The headphones looked unused, though, and everything was there. But still, you would think Amazon would check the appearance of their seller's merchandise to see if it really is NEW once it arrives at their warehouse.

As long as they look unused and without bullet holes in the box, I'll be happy. wink.gif

Also, my nightly Battlefield 3 sessions seem to have vanished over the last week...I blame the 07's.
