I totally agree here as well. My Bass Editions and C&C BH have been burning in for a week now and every time i pop em in for a listen there is less sibilance, better bass, imaging, and i dont find any of them to be an issue any more. You guys would love how they bring out bass guitar in a song you normally couldnt hear, but it doesnt over do it, it just lets you know its there.

I was listening to this absolutely gorgeous, reggae-tinged remix of the haunting Billie Holiday classic with my HD800.  The tonal qualities, imaging, and atmosphere set forth was just sublime.. especially the spectacular vocals.  Loved the gentle dub treatments & when that meandering horn comes in to offer some gentle interplay with the guitar.

I think my fellow GR07 owners/music lovers will appreciate it, too.

I received my gr07 (Bass Edition) this weekend (with Rock-it R-50) and wanna share my impressions.
First of all why BE? I guess I just like the cable, looks pretty cool, besides it's excellent cable if You ask me- smooth and soft, not carry any noise.
Build quality? Compared to r-50 they really feel lot stronger and can't find anything that could break over time (maybe cable will go fade).
Was surprised how pleasant sound is just out of the box, they are not bass heavy (not as my brothers Meelec CW31) and quite forgiving poor mp3 quality (opposite to r-50).
Fit? Many people complain they can't get good fit/isolation with stock tips (even if it's generous tips collection) and... I do too T_T. None of stock tips seams to give me good isolation and can't find good nozzle angle for me, best isolation I get is with Hybrids (besides stock tips are hard to put on the nozzle). My r-50 gives me good seal just out of the box with tips on them but gr07 are really tricky here.
Generally I'm happy with the purchase (never spend that much money on phones) and would be more happy if I could get good isolation.

I ordered another pair after gifting the first(they loved them). Hope I get the new package. Anything I would miss or get if I end up getting the new package? I read the item description but do you guys know anything else?

thanks!! not 2 bad if i do say so myself ,cool.gif good iem = a good reveiw

 

but in addition to my well constructed poetic chorus i wanna chuck you this lil foto ,  a modification you can do with the tips with ordinary items you will have at home right now!!
