Have a Sound Card. Use B&W MM-1 w/ or w/o it?

I have a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD and I just received the B&W MM-1 as a gift. I was curious if I should plug them in directly to my Sound Card or through USB as the speakers have a built in DAC.

Thanks for the help.

My guess (just a guess) would be the speakers perform best through USB as B&W would likely tune the speakers in every way for best performance.

That being said... Try it and see what happens. Do a little A/B testing and let us know.

Just try both options and see what you like the most, the DA on the Titanium HD card is one of the best but on the other hand it sits inside a noisy computer without a dedicated psu.

Try each option a day at a time and you'll get a fair idea of what you like the most.

Just note that if you use the USB you'll forfeit all the nice gaming features you have on the Titanium HD.
