No, i use the headphonejack at max Volume. But i think there is a Rockbox Addin to convert the headphone jack to a line out for some Sansas, maybe also for the Clip+.

Gear mentioned in this thread:

I have never heard of a device capable of line-out over USB. USB simply isn't made for analog signals.

Okay. Sorry. I always mix up the placement of the 3.5mm jack and micro USB port.

I was considering adding the 580 for an identical setup, what do you make of it? Have you compared them to the M50s? I need a bit of bass in my setups!

What cable are you using? BTW, cool rig!

My 2 yen worth, the standard Go-DAP 4.0 is ok. A step above the iPhone-LOD-Pico Slim/SR-71.

A fully upgraded Go-DAP OTOH :-
Me: HP-P1 < CLAS+Pico Slim << Upgraded Go-DAP <~ CLAS+SR-71B
My Wife: HP-P1 < CLAS+SR-71B < Upgraded Go-DAP < CLAS+Pico Slim

The diff between the Upgraded Go-DAP & CLAS+SR-71B is ever so slight that in general it's not wor carrying the CLAS+SR-71B. But I carry that rig still cos draining the battery of the iPad+CLAS rig is better than draining my iPhone's battery.

Check out the Go-DAP thread to find out more about what the upgrade options are. Note, not cheap...costs as much as the HP-P1 in the end.

I did not compare them with M50's(from all I've read 580's are more bassy) ,but the bass on this things is just incredible, really punchy, especially when you use it with an amp.

My cable/rig ? The connected Cable is an Oehlbach IConnect ( Oehlbach is an german cable manufacturer), the other cable is selfmade.

I think that is a TTVJ slim with a S:Flow / Telecast T51.

Haha yeah mradrian i was gonna make a comment about that! So many people use fiio bands! It kinda shows how many probably have e11 or just go on ebay and order some fiio bands. Hey why not? Id rather get bands marked with an audiophile company than just some generic ebay saying on them smily_headphones1.gif
