Great looking amp!I bet it was worth the price.

This needs more lasers shooting out of it! bigsmile_face.gif

Looks like a really solid build. The faceplate is sleek and tasteful. Too bad about your WA2 though but you can't have everything at once, right? Right!?

That's a nice, clean build of a terrific circuit! Congrats to all involved. smily_headphones1.gif

Great work Corey. If only you weren't backed up til July. wink.gif

Great review, David. The one thing I lack is the ability to write a great review. Shoot, even a mediocre review I can't do.

Great job, Corey. Your DIY craftsmanship is absolutely top drawer.

i'm in the process of selling my house and buying a new one with a closing date of 6/15 and need to start packing up the family.  i'm also knee deep in a B22 build i need to finish before moving.  the new house will have a much larger man-cave and more space for hi-fi smily_headphones1.gif.  i anticipate being able to take on builds again in early July.

since i am a one man operation, i anticipate only being able to do about 8-10 builds a year.  i want to 'showcase' the AMB designs and allow the customer to have input to customize to their needs and general aesthetics - this takes time.  David failed to mention that it was basically he who designed the faceplate with my help.

Excellent minimalistic approach.

Reminds me of the early 90's Soundstream amps.

yea its a great faceplate. it was so interesting being part of the building process of this amp. getting picture and email updates as things progressed and i think one of the best things is that corey is just as excited as the person receiving the amp.  thats truly something rare in this hobby.

What are the dimensions of your M^3? The chassis looks pretty hefty.

I like the way the amber LED is perched on the bold black line and slightly under the 3. Nice touch.

dimensions are actually smaller than i thought it was gonna be.  i think its like 12x12x4 i think.  yea corey loves the amber LEDs and i was unsure but i went with it anyways and it turned out awesome.

Corey is certainly passionate about his builds and is very patient. He explains the entire process and offers many options. He offers a truly custom product.

I have M3 with AD843s and Sigma11 to pair with LCD-2s, great result indeed, like debitsohn said. My Beta 22 with Sigma 22 sounds even better, but at a much higher cost and it only gives a slightly bigger soundstage.

Corey's an awesome builder. I think the pictures and impressions here speak for themselves. He's really figured out how to get the most out of the M^3 too...getting it pretty close to a Beta apparently.

Great review too...it was very interesting to see how the M^3 compared to the WA2.
