Zero DAC Amp Problem

Thread Starter

I just received my Zero DAC amp/preamp and it sounds great. The problem though is that it is switching the left/right channels when the audio source is usb from my computer. Anyone familiar with the Zero know how to fix this? I've turned my headphones around for now, but I would like to get the amp working properly.

Check your operating system's settings under Playback Devices (Windows) by second-clicking on the speaker icon in your taskbar.  Then you second-click on USB Audio DAC  and make sure any special effects and what not are turned off.

Then make sure any effects in your media player(s) are also turned off.

I seem to get reversed stereo myself when using Reclock + WMP to watch anime.  Not sure what's up with that, maybe I left something (un)checked somewhere.  =\

Checked that stuff, everything seems solid. It's not the software I'm playing music out of because stereo is still reversed regardless of the application I'm using. I'm pretty sure its something with the dac itself.

I have now tried with different usb chords, and I have tried the optical input using my xbox 360 as a source. The Zero output is still reversing left and right channels, so the problem is definitely within the DAC/Amp.

I just noticed I have the same issue.  XD

I use SPDIF more from my DVD player, so I've kind of overlooked the reverse stereo with USB input.

Perhaps something is backwards.
