Can someone tell me the value of this resistor (pic)

I'm color blind and can't read these frigging things

Looks to me like violet/red/orange/gold which would be 72k ohm 5%.

 

The orange could possibly be brown, which would make it 720 ohm.  Do you have a multimeter?

Someplace. I completely forgot about it till you reminded me. I'll have to break that out.

It looks more like brown to me after playing with the pic in an image editor.
If you're measuring it, remember that parallel components in the circuit can affect the reading. But you should be able to tell if it's 720 or 72000 Ohms given the orders of magnitude difference.

I said disregarding the original question, i.e. not seeing the resistor in question as the OOI. Hence the framing is excellent.
