Snag1e, I have been thinking about purchasing this unit for quite some time and want to sample vinyl as well.  How exactly will you have your vinyl rig hooked up to the 0204?  Currently, I just connect the tape monitor of my receiver to the mic jack of my MacbookPro via a RCA-to-3.5mm cable to sample, which I know is far from ideal.  I've been studying audio interfaces for a while and am nearly set on the 0204, just want to make sure vinyl sampling will be easy and I am still not sure what the best way to use it for sampling is.  Hope you can provide some insight!

I am at school for another week, so I haven't recorded any vinyl yet, however...

To hook it up you will need to buy 2 1/4 inch TS to RCA adapters (I got mine from musicians friend for a total of $3) plug those into the left and right inputs on the 0204, and set up your recording software to record from the 0204, and at the bit / sample rate you want.  It should be pretty much the same as the macbooks line-in from there. Just TT--> Phono Pre/ Receiver--> 0204 --> macbook (via usb). It should be pretty easy, and sound better than the macbook alone.
