I listened to them through EF5, Musical Fidelity speaker amp and straight from MDAC. Same results.
It's a wonder how each of us preferred something differently.

So far, our impression/preference seem to be exactly the same when it comes to HE500.  :beerchug:

Better not say that over on head-fi or they'll wring you out to dry.

I was not bashing the headphone, just expressing my opinion based on my personal preferences.

Oops! My winky face didn't show up. I was just heckling. Anyway,  I always felt the LCD-2 I had was dark and congested, which is why I preferred hifimans to them.

Yep! No need to "fit in", sound is a very personal thing. The best advice is to try things out yourself, and the second best is to find someone that hears very similarly to you with similar preferences.

Gay marriage is not allowed in my country.

I kid. It is. But I'm not marrying any of you guys. Well, except if you're a really hot girl. Then I can start thinking about that ;)

Stop reading this thread.  We are bad influence on you.  ;)

In case, you regret your decision after receiving the HE500.   Please don't come back and blame us crazy.

A trip to Thailand and some $$$$ can certainly make that happen.  My jaw dropped to the floor the 1st time I saw a show in Thailand performed by these "beauties" back in 2001.

Man, Thailand is a scary place. I think I'd never sleep with a Thai woman with the fear of being caught by surprise.
