With that much venting the soundstage will blow minds... yours and your neighbors.  Might even attract the NSA's attention.

Nope..still on its way..its not on dutch soil yet..called a friend of mine who can check that without customs knowing.. biggrin.gif
But i expect it to surface on wednesday on the track and trace here in holland... And then it will be delivered on friday..or monday..thats 7working days..just as long as my code-x took from new york..but am patient..some days more wont hurt me...

But seriously... To make an amp more surefooted best thing is to put stuff on top of it on the sides..Ofcourse not heavy stuff!!!

but u can always buy round audiophile weights that 'only 'cost ya 200usd per 300gr or something..people owning turntables buy that kind of stuff to make the platform more stabile..whatever...ofcourse thats rubbish.. But hey.. Itsur money..hehehe

But even by making a joke about that stone..u show truth..those kind of rocks are very good in killing vibrations..i once knew a guy who used rocks that was used for building his house as platforms for his rig! And he swore by it! Lolz
And about rocks..today i read something about platforms for subwoofers..WTF!!! I have two downwards subwoofers... So they push air towards the floor and so u can FEEL the tremors as if ur there....so why do u need granite platforms to make then sound better..i want that my bass massages my butt...hehehe..

This can keep anything in place. It's good at as you say, "killing vibrations" or killing flies.

Yep, patience is a virtue.  Time to be devilish later

I swear by my super cheap foam feet (felt sliders stuck on non-sliders, which are stuck on the bottom of the Bifrost), and the same non-sliders stuck on the bottom of the Lyr, to which are stuck these awesome clear tapered rubber feet that are larger and taller than the average rubber feet.  I get shock absorption and extra height between my pieces of Schiit, all at rock bottom Target prices.  See, I through in some rocks ;)

Maybe she'll just make him sit on your subwoofers... one for each cheek.  Oh, best take precautions should that scenario ever arise.

Seriously..i talked to a guy who is actually a engineer in those kind of vibration thingies (oil business) and he told me best vibration feet are the ones u DONT fix under ur desktop component u dont move arround.....u just put ur amp on them.no matter how expensive or how cheap...not glued..dont ask me to explain it...i forgot most of it already..and NEVER ever put extra feet Under the feet u already have..but i guess u all knew that...lolz..

Does that mean I'd have to travel to LaLa Land in Holland in order to defile his subwoofers? I guess that I could manage a low frequency burst or two. :veryevil:

Engineers... pih.  What d'they know.  Look at StanD.  I think I'll triple the Schiity feet just to spite them.

I'm joking, of course.  So now you've got me curious as to why I shouldn't be sticking my sticky feet to other, different, sticky feet.  Not that I'm changing my setup.  I like it when those tiny vibrations whisper in my ear.

I dont think u will like it if i play around with a volume ..my little girl gets scared and flees to her room when i put on a heavy soundtrack of a blue ray movie with decent volume (50%).... My wife already warned me not to put the volume above 40% or elese i have a pproblem..oopsie...so i think that if u do try to sit on the woofers u will get deaf for sure...but at least ur back pain will be gone because of the rumbling massages..hehehehe
And another thing..my wife is deadly...u will never ever pass her to enter the living room.... biggrin.gif

The HE560 will be out soon. I will have a pair to listen to shortly. It will be interesting to hear the difference between the 500 and 560 and whatever other differences there are.
