Its an easy mod... Anyone can do it

If u do want to go the he6 road..wait a few months..there is a rumor hifiman is working on a new TOTL model that will come out this year and when that comes out some of the he6 owners for sure will sell theirs for a good price then and u can get a he6 for cheap wink.gif
But get urself a strong amp first before that.. 5watt into 50ohm at least tongue.gif

Thinking about the Jade?

Last year it was rumored mr. Fang was working on a high end electrostatic TOTL phone under 2000USD mark.

Still, it seems to me he won't put his focus on it before the he400i and 560 is out. So the wait can be long..

Please.

Someone.

Stop me from thinking about HE-6, HE-560, and anything else!!! lolol

Google "metal honeycomb mesh" and you'll get lots of hits.  Here's one:

Tough to tell which one is the same as, or close to, the one pictured in the Grill Mod thread.

So when are you going to do a nice gold metal honeycomb mesh grill mod? Or do you prefer a color that matches the color of the cans? Post pictures, we want pictures, we want pictures.......;)

I will SPAM all your email accounts, don't worry ;)  They will also appear in your Head-Fi photo album :p  At the NSA, We Don't #$%! Around.  That's our new motto, btw.

I like my red grills, just want to try larger openings.  What I want is that 1960s Star Trek costume material.  That should lend a little space to the HE-500s' soundstage.  Yeah, I'm bored.

If that Jade 2 can retain the bass of the current models and add in the transparency and treble of stats, all for under 2K....I might just skip everything and get that. I remember hearing about that they were packaging an amp as well? Release date?

its for us just as much guessing as u do now..but am sure most audiophiles here with the budget to spend will be looking out for that one...and am sure mr. Fang knows that..as u saw what he gave jerg..that shows he follows our threads very closely..or has a Marketing man doing that for him so if we talk a lot about it he maybe will speed the introduction up..hehehhe
