Stax, ha, you really enjoy spending other people's moolah. Capacitors can become nonlinear when carrying power which also generates heat, something of which most fat capacitors do not like. Also you get phase shifts and a big cap carries charge. Too much weirdness for me. I just picked up an Asgard 2 SS amp. It's low feedback (none in high-gain) Class A with DC coupling. Very low distortion and good power. Really good engineering and it sounds great. It's a careful design to operate in the linear region and keep that a large region. Someone did a good job.
