Ok so i bought some second hand sennheiser HD 650's from ebay they are about two years old and one of the bubbles on one side is pressed in? i cant really tell any difference in sound from each side but is it actually something i should worry about?

Thanks.

Not sure what u mean by bubble but if it is what I think it is, it's just the dust cap which really wont effect anything, same as a full size speaker that has its dust cap dented.

Yeah, the dust caps on headphone drivers are very, very, very sensitive - and are quite thin when compared to regular speakers.  If you're not hearing any distortion, then things are probably fine with the driver.   Though, it does seem kind of odd that the dust cap is pushed in - unless, someone was in there playing around with things.  You could also just plug your headphones into an amp and run them at a louder volume for a while and then check it out to see if the dust cap had popped back out as it should be.

Its like a white pale bubble thats in the middle, you can see it as soon as you take the foam off, anyway thanks for letting me know! smily_headphones1.gif

The same thing has happened to me.  Somewhere on Head-Fi I learned the fix: pop off the screens, and blow on the bubble to pop it back out.  One quick puff as if you were blowing out a candle.  I'm sure I would have made a mess of those things had I not learned of this easy trick.
